  • Formed in 1972 under the name of Whiteoak
  • 1989 The club received sponsorship from Swanley Town Council and changed its name to Swanley
  • 2014/15 Season finished with the 1st team being promoted to Division 2 in the North West Kent Netball League.
  • September 2016 the club inroduced a junior section, catering for school years 3 and above, with eight participants. The group has gone from strength to strength and now has 40+ regular members.
  • In 2017 Swanley became the first London & South East club to complete the England Netball Club Action Scheme (CAPS) on-line and was awarded Bronze accreditation, proof of good practice, recognised both by England Netball and Sport England.
  • 2018 The club formed a development squad made up with 14-16 year olds to mentor the transition from junior to adult netball.
  • 2019/20 The club formed an Under 16 squad to play in the Rising Stars Junior Netball League.
  • 2019/20 Due to COVID-19 Netball saw an early closure for training and league fixtures.
  • 2019/20 With the season finishing early and final positions taken, Swanley 1 found themselves promoted to Division 1 in the North West Kent Netball League 
  • 2020/21 Saw the club enter a 5th team in the North West Kent Netball League
  • March 2021 Accepted as an England Netball Core Inclusion Club (CIC) and to deliver Blended Netball 
  • 10th May 2021 held our first Inclusion session in partnership with Mencap Round the World Challenge (RTWC).
